About the Author
Roy Williams, OBE, worked as an actor before turning to writing full-time in 1990. He graduated from Rose Bruford in 1995 with a first class BA Hons degree in Writing and participated in the 1997 Carlton Television screenwriter's course. About the Author
Donaldson Chair in Operations Management at the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. He is also the Co-Director of the Juran Center for Leadership in Quality and has earned an appointment as a Distinguished Teaching Professor. He received the B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering with high distinction from the University of Minnesota, MSIE University of Minnesota and Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Prior to joining the University of Minnesota, he taught at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, and was an analyst for the office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense. Professor Schroeder has received research grants from the Ford Foundation, American Production and Inventory Control Society, Exxon Education Foundation and the National Science Foundation. He is a recipient of the Morse Award for outstanding teaching at the University of Minnesota.

Good Book, Bad Price

This is an excellent introductory text for operations management. I used it for many years before I retired and did the PowerPoint slides for several editions. That kind of a price for a paperback book, however, is ridiculous. It is no wonder that students buy one and then copy it for all their friends; or, find an international edition on-line for a fraction of the price. I have quit requiring a text in my classes and just have the library buy a couple of copies for reference.

Terrific look into the mind of a death camp commandant

Mrs. Sereny Clearly and concisely brings you the viewpoints of SS Haupsturmfuhrer Franz Stangl from his Prison cell in Spandau. Stangl was the commandant of the Sobibor Death camp and then charged with making the Treblinka death camp an efficient killing factory. The book is completely objective, and is the last testament of Herr Stangl before his death in 1971 in the prison. A must read for any holocaust scholar, or those who wish to learn how the mind of a bureaucratic mass murderer. Although it is not light reading, I would recomend this book to anyone as preparation for history repeating itself (which it most certainly will)

It openly exposes Hitler"s criminal programs, from Euthanasia to the Final Solution. A real "must" for everyone involved in Holocaust studies.This book will give you nightmares on end.

The author does a great job of understanding the reasons which lead Frank Standl to become the Kommandant of Treblinka. Frank Standl allows her to enter his soul and help him understand how he could have committed these attocious things. Through this, she also takes a look at the human soul. Was Frankl that different from anyone of us. Had it been us, would we had done the same thing?

This book goes above and beyond your average mermaid story!

Become was the last book in The Awakened Fate series! This was such an exciting read! Full of betrayal, suspense, love, friendship, death, royalty, and secrets. I had to read this book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next! I could not put it down.

Chloe, Zeke, and Noah returned to the ocean. Yes, I did say Noah! Let's just say that Chloe's powers are growing more and more each day. Almost everyone in the ocean are their enemies. How do you trust? Who do you trust? Can Zeke and Chloe even trust their parents? Yes, we do meet Chloe's real dad in this book! But that is all I can say! Who he is will shock you! You will have to read the book for yourself to know how their final plan went, along with their final battle! You will also find out who Chloe picks! Yay for love triangles!!

Skye Malone is amazing! I still can't figure out how she created all the creatures she did! They were awesome creatures and characters! Each and every character had their own unique personality and I fell in love with all of them. Not Noah's cousins though. This book wasn't just your average mermaid book. There were actually other creatures hunting mermaids for once, instead of your usual human vs. Mermaid story.

I'm very sad this series is over, but Skye Malone informed me that something exciting is coming!!! Woohooo!!! I really recommend this series.

A Great Series.

I have read all the books in this series. The characters were believable and well developed. The language was exquisite and well written. The story was very exciting and contained many elements. There was love, hate, adventure, mystery, suspense. Although there was great attention to detail, there were none of those boring spots where the background is described on page after page. Chloe was a girl with a big problem and supposedly crazy parents. As the story develops, she discovers why they don't want her near the ocean. Turns out there are multiple people who want her dead, in the ocean and on the land. Things are also complicated by her love life. Thankfully, she has great friends to help her and give her advice. In the end, it all works out and the bad guys get their just rewards. It is a great story and I highly recommend it.

Sad but Fantastic

Chloe, Zeke and Noah have come a long way in this final book of the series. Zeke's brother is beyond help, or so it seems. They are hunted by more than one psychotic group and try to find help with Zeke's mother. Little do they know, but she's just as bad. And Chloe finally finds her father. Who knew???

This book has an incredible ending, and I was surprised with it. It's very sad, but nothing else made sense. It's sad but exciting. Zeke will become more as will all of the others who were exposed to the storm and the power emitted from it. Noah is my hero. He will continue to be a bright light in the sky.
